How do i fold a MLTL

If i have MLTL i like.

How do i fold it?

I understand that the volume should be the same and that the c/c of the driver and port should have the same distance from the top and bottom inside.

But what about the length?

And can i place the port on the side or even one on each side?

Adding the bend will add some length to the line, getting it right can be a bit tricky.

A fold will also add another LP filter to the line (not a bad thing), but leaving out corner reflectors (recommended) means the box will be a bit bigger volume.

As long as Z_d and Z_vent remains the same you can put them on whatever side you want (ignoring differences in room loading).

Here is what i ended up with when i folded the Woden ML-TL into a shorter/deeper form so that a seperate midTweeter box placed on top would be at an ear level.

For some reason i did put some deflectors on the folded line, probably for bracing and with the fold at the top pushing the volume up too much.

Measure the length of the line in the middle of the cross section all the way.
