How do DIYers calculate magnetic field strength?

Hi all, when designing your drivers how do you calculate the magnetic field strength "out where the membrane is"?

And what are the values you find there? Many thanks.

FEMM is one way to model it. There are quite a few threads here discussing its use.

For the speakers I work on, I always assume it's about 52000 nT. Doesn't seem to vary much. 😀

I second FEMM for modeling. I've used it at work a bunch, but never for hobby stuff, reasonably accessible and quick to get started using.
