a couple days i replaced the home receiver amp that powered my subs with a more powerful one..

one thing i found peculiar is that after a running tests over a couple days.. i was beginning to notice the power meter on left channel not moving as much as the right channel. i thought it was the amp, but then after switching the outputs then right channel followed suit.. so basically, one of the sub is not outputting as much as the other....

is this a sign the woofer is going....

they're the same woofers

they're the same woofers,

i switched both the wires first at the amp and then @ the speaker inputs

no diff, the outcome is whichever channel the 2nd sub is on..
outputs less.. but right now.. that's the second of my worry..

i think i basically fried/damaged the input on the receiver on the left channel..

i ran a test just a while ago.. speakers off just meter running..
both channels running fine then left slowly begins to die out on me till the needle basically stops..

if i turn off the receiver for about a couple minutes then turn it back on the left works for a bit then dies out again...

(this is with just input alone from the active crossover and no output to the woofers)
