Hi Gang,
Since my 1983/4 (Orange) Roland Cube 60 has been sitting a while and has turned 30, I opened it up to make sure none of the electrolytic caps were leaking. All looks perfect.... that's when Made in Japan was mainstream. NICE!
However, why did they hot glue the caps to what was nearby?
Is/was this typical? (still learning... I hope) LOL 🙄
Also, the Reverb isn't as pronounced as it was years ago. New tank time? Or is there something I can do to revive it? Unfortunately, no 12AX7 to replace here.
After this gets tweaked, time for a new 12" speaker too. Unfortunately. the depth is somewhat limiting!
Actually a decent amp that handles pedals well, portable and L-O-U-D! (when necessary)
Thanks everybody! 😀

They glued the caps together to keep the little metal legs from flexing and breaking during shipment.

Thank you! I guess it is that straight forward.
Kinda like me.... Fat body... skinny legs. Well they got fatter too. LOL
Shipping is just the beginning. Gigging, and Touring and so on, indefinitely as well.
Thanks again!
