Hi guys,
I own an Harman Kardon subwoofer (TS7), pictured here
Bass reflex, 100W, 10" speaker facing down.
Thing is, it's too high for my new TV stand 😡
So, i'm planning on building a new box in MDF, to accomodate the stand.
I'd keep the internal volume, but change the shape.
Is it as simple as that ?
IF yes, and whilst i'm at it, is there any room for improvement ?
Many thanks for your help 😀
Cheers !

Given that it's an active subwoofer (ie, likely there's some cabinet-specific processing going on), yep, just keep cabinet volume and port dimensions the same and you'll be fine.

Tip it on its side, not blocking the port that is.
You, sir, just made my life a whole lot easier 🙄
Didn't think of it, yet the easiest option !
Tried, works fine, will stay that way 😀
Many thanks y'all ! 🙂
