can anybody help me understand hip4081a working? im not using pulsating inputs i.e pwm signals to drive it. . is it necessary to use pwm inputs?
secondly i want to know how to debug hip4081a circuit. . like what voltages readings should i be getting on ics pins to ensure its perfect working!

thnx for ur rply!
i ve implemented this crkt but its not working and as i said i ve not used pwm inputs! i need sumthing to sort out the functioning of this ic so that i can debug my crkt and find the problem!

HIP4081 can be operated with static input signals without problems. It has integrated charge pumps for keeping the MOSFETs switched on continuosly.
For debugging it is useful to have an oscilloscope at hand. For additional information you can download Application Note AN9405.pdf and AN9506.pdf from Intersil.
The desired operational mode of the MOSFET-H-Bridge (freewheeling or not) determines which inputs to use. This is a bit tricky since it is not directly referred to in datasheet or application note, it is special knowledge of H-Bridge operation.
But anyway, if you are not using pwm input signals, why use HIP4081 at all ?

the mosfets in my h-bridge crkt used to burnout whenever i changed direction of my motors. .so i decided to use a mosfet hbridge driver which i found in the form of hip4081A. . . any other easier way?
