Out of curiosity, a lot of people here have been using overhead projectors, claiming the fresnel lens there is of high quality.
Is there a source somewhere that one could get these lenses inexpensively ?
I notice some places sell these for $40 up to $100+.
Would 2 of those one dollar page magnifiers from Staples do as well ?

I have 2 of those staples fresnel. They aren't that great, only 2X. My local surplus is selling OHP for $1, I've been there before a long time ago and did see a bunch of them. I'm gonna get a few of them and take them apart.
I wonder if San Francisco Bay Area has a surplus store that sells OHP for 1 dollar.
