Hello people, my name is Nick, I live in the UK and want to thank you all! I've spent countless hours reading over posts and replies form you guys and there really is no end to the useful information and helpful people on this site!

Great job to everyone who contributes.

To start me off i was wanting a way to list what equipment i have in my profile or in any other way before posting anything. Is this possible?

I had hoped a moderator would pick up on your question.

I am not aware of any way of listing your equipment in your profile.

However, perhaps my response to your post will stimulate a more positive response.

I am 42 and have recently been trying to put together a HT setup, my daughter has just turned 18 and is really getting into all things music related. She gets this from me and I want to help her grow in areas such as Djing, Music production and all things audio really.

Anything I post will be about my home audio setup/development or information needed to help guide my daughter in her musical travels.

Currently I am running a 5.1 setup and plan to upgrade to either 7.1 or 7.2 in the near future. (room=62m3)

Setup is a Pioneer LX73 receiver powering 4 x Wharfdale 220's & a Wharfdale CM10 centre, all crossed at 100hz
Behringer NX3000 powering a twin 10" custom sub. This is for my movies.

I have a spare NX3000 to make use of and am currently looking at PA style speaker builds, either custom or clone builds as i want to create a party style listening environment for both karaoke and djing.

I also have a small corner dedicated to a studio environment and will be building studio monitors as a future project. I have mixer, Shure SM58 Mic, audio interface, PC, DAW and plenty plugins/sample all ready to go.

The room is my living area but with a quick furniture shift it turns from a theatre setup with 6+ people seated to a clear open area suitable for small parties etc. So in one room and i am aiming at HT (sorted for now) DJ / Party environment (Need Speakers) and studio corner (need monitors & possible headphones)
