Buddy got a 299A (7189) model that has an open bias/phono tube winding... I'm looking for specs on the PTs used in 299A, and later models (with 7591s, I believe??)
TIA

Does he want to replace the whole transformer or will he be happy using an add-on for the open winding?

Hi,,,
I found a suitable 24V tx, and built him a doubler that will fit the foot print of the original damaged bridge,,, caps and diodes will be mounted on a tag strip on top of the tx, to save space,,,
That way he can continue rebuilding/testing the amp,,, and doubler ckt will be reversible if he gets the PT rewound or finds a replacement,,,
