Hey all,
What's up? I'm from the Portland, Oregon area and I caught the speaker building bug from a buddy of mine. We built some 15" dance-hall type subs for your basic techno/dubstep/house whatever type music. Since then I've been eager to take on new smaller-scale projects.
Right now I'm working on a portable 12VDC powered guitar amp. I'd like to get feedback on preamp schematics, component choices, share pictures, get advice, etc. Which area of the forum would be right for this?
Thanks in advance!
DK

Hi NapoleonDK and welcome to diyAudio.
As to the amp... well the analogue line level forum would be good for your preamp questions,
Analog Line Level - diyAudio
Ask away 🙂

Thanks, it's good to be here.
I think I'll start a thread in the Instruments and Amps section to contain my build log. I'm also digging through the Power Supplies section to try and find a 12VDC regulator to isolate and protect my circuits from fluctuating battery current...Google has supplied mixed results and I'm not sure what sort of supply is appropriate for an audio circuit!
