Here's a NICE! projector screen to use

I was at Lowe's walking around for 15 minutes looking for the Plas-Tex material wall to use for the screen but I couldn't find it. So I happen to walk into the Drapery Isle, and saw long rolls of darkening shades. These are called LEVOLOR, heavy weight vinyl. Most of them are white with different textures. They come in different length from 40 something inches to 73.25" wide. You can also have them cut it to a specific length. I bought the 73.25 X 78" one with the smoothest texture, cost $28, excellent price for a large screen. The best thing of all, the screen can roll up and down!

I went to chase pitkin today and found a simlar screen for only 10 bucks. This was a fiberglass one that someone had made and never picked up. Great Idea. Thanks man.

I did find some online shading stores selling roller shades but most of them don't have white color or they are not smooth like this. And the price are crazy for the same size as mine go up to $100+. Lowe's and Target and JC Penny has these LEVOLOR roller shades...I do not know the price for Target and JCPenny. Lowe's price is unbeatable compared to online stores selling similar item. For a huge screen it's only $28.

My OHP isn't bright enough to take pics with it in action. However, in person, I am satisfied with the quality of the image.

The picture that I attached shows a 73.25" roller shade that's been cut at the store, at least 13" off...I shouldn't of cut it since they didn't reduce the price and my projection is slightly wider than the screen now. I will return the screen and buy it again without having it cut so I will have a full 73.25"X78" screen.

whats your lumen output? If i find LEVOLOR i plan to buy one that takes the whole wall i hope it wont be too much money 😀 do you think they would seel it that BJ's? theres are no LOWES in my area.

The one at EZblinds called EZblinds® America Series Roller Shades Splendor Semi Opaque Fabric Splendor White SP1000 looks good since the texture is smooth. But it is Opaque? somewhat transparent? That wouldn't be good then. Besides, I priced it at my size, 73.25 x 78 = $104.00...I don't think so.

Thanks, now that menas i have to get my lazy butt out of the house to buy em 🙁 lol i HOPE they have em in small fabric stores. there are soem small fabric stores in my area but i havent tried going there yet.
