Hello
I owner Hifonics Brutus BRE 1600.1D from Russia. The amplifier is not producing rated power, maximum 300 watt. Unfortunately, in Russia there is no official representation Hifonics. There is no service.
I contacted the Maxxsonics and Audiodesign, but they refused to help me with send the service manual for this amp. No one wanted to help and get in my difficult situation.
I got in touch with the people in Russia who are engaged in service Hifonics before, but they did not have the service manual for this amp. I do not know what to do ... I love this amp and I would like to use it on, but I can not fix it without a schema.
Send to repair to Germany is very expensive for this device.
If anyone has friends in the any service center, who repairing Hifonics amps, please ask them for a service manual, or at least one sheet with full circuit diagram for BRE 1600.1D.
Thanks a lot anyway.
Nicolas.

Hello
The amplifier is not producing rated power, maximum 300 watt.
Is this the only issue ?
How do you know it's not producing it's rated power ?
What tests have you done ?
Is the amp getting 12+ volts power supply ?
Is the amp getting a proper ground ?
What input signal voltage is it getting ?
What load is it connected too ?
If you don't give us usable information, what do you expect us to do ?
Use a crystal ball or telepathy ?
How much experience do you have repairing amplifiers?
How did you determine that it's only producing 300 watts?
How did you determine that it's only producing 300 watts?
Sorry in advance for my English. Voltage 14V + , the cross section of the cables + and - 0GA, connected to the subwoofer with 750 watt RMS 1 Ohm subwoofer didn't even work at full speed, played quiet, level cranked all the way up. Found 2 hot chip replaced, the miracle did not happen, photos make, visually all whole

This what the website says about your amp;
Even at 300W RMS (if that is remotely possible), the current draw is over 20 Amps at 14.4V, which means you are officially deaf. At 600 Watts, the current draw is over 40 Amps. Do you have any idea what this means? If not, I suggest you a bit about very basic electronics in order to understand what questions to ask.
You do NOT want an amplifier operating at its maximum power rating, even in a car, because you WILL be deaf very quickly.
General Features:
Brutus Series Monoblock Class NextGen Super-D Car Amplifier
RMS Power Rating (@ 14.4V):
4 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.
2 ohms: 1200 watts x 1 chan.
1 ohm: 1600 watts x 1 chan.

Geez, fellow Aussies, why the smart arsed attitude? Nicolas asked only for a service manual or schematics. Do you have them or not? Cranky, he didn't ask you do do anything but that; he didn't ask you to diagnose a problem; and Tromp - quite simply, it's quiet! No need to work out the exact power output or talk about going deaf. We all know 300 watts output is....loud.
