Hello, i'm new to the forum. I have the same Gen XX Hifonics Hercules. But if you switch it on it won't put out any sound. It's not goes into protect but just on and without sound. Already bring to local repair guy. He said that the driver board got some problem. Anyone have the schematics for the driver board (D1820V51) made by S3-Tech. And also they glued the U2 and U3. Can anyone tell me what IC are they?
=Thanx=

I'm sorry Perry. I try to ask mod to move it to new thread.Perry Babin said:Please don't post in a thread that was started by someone else unless your post relates to their question. Click on the red triangle in the lower left corner of your post and ask a moderator to move your post (and any replies to it) to a new thread (my post should be deleted).
After it's moved, I'll try to help you.
Because I see blazer40 asking for the schematics and brandes.cm post unglued U2 and U3. So I also ask for the schematics and U2, U3.
=Thanx=
Thanx wintermute 😀So, since it's already new thread I'll ask some more question then. Can I have the whole schematic for the Gen XX Hercules? I already try contacting maxxonics but got no luck 🙁=Thanx=
Us is likely a TL072. U3 is likely an LM211.
I don't have a schematic diagram for the driver board but all of the transistors on the end of the board (large and small) develop bad solder connections. The smaller transistors fail often. The 470 ohm resistors (marked 4700) commonly fail. The 12v Zeners sometimes fail.
The AudioQ 2200 schematic diagram may be close as far as the main board is concerned. I don't have it on this computer. maybe someone can send you a copy but they'll need your email address.

Okay, I'll check the resistor and the zener.
BTW, before it's broken the amp is gradually losing it's output. So, lets say in a month the sound output is keep on decreasing until it has no output at all. Not all in a sudden it got no output. Any idea where else should I check?
