Help with Crossovers to my setup!

Hello!

I am currently building a big boombox with this setup:

(Maybe) 1x http://www.ljudia.se/hogtalarelement...10-8r-p716594/
Not sure if I will use this mid speaker or not)

The amplifier I am probably going to use:

I am a total noob on the crossover part, but I understand that I will need it to not destroy my speakers and to make it sound better.

What kind of crossovers do I need? A guy told me I should have a active Crossover... So what are my options and how will I connect everything?

Buzzy, anyone can throw some drivers into a cabinet. The crossover is the hard part, and a 4 way PA speaker would be a huge amount of work. It might not even sound any good at the end of it.

No-one is going to do the work for you. Sorry. 🙂

I understand the problem and maybe I should change the setup to:

4x Diskanthorn - Monacor MPT-016

3x P.audio HP-10W - Ljudia - Multimedia Hemelektronik Karaoke PA anläggning DJ utrustning Ljus utrustning

2x Celestion TF0615MR 8R - Ljudia - Multimedia Hemelektronik Karaoke PA anläggning DJ utrustning Ljus utrustning

Then I should have a 3way system instead of 4way right?

I have read a little bit more about crossovers now and lets say I have this new setup and make a 3way crossover with:

Lowpass 2000hz for the 10"
Highpass 6000hz for the Treble (Tweeters)

What about the mid how does that work in a 3way? Do you have booth low and highpasses?
