the amp is currently wired for balanced input and output.
If I want to use a single-ended input (example: using a normal RCA cable), what changes do I need to make? How do I re-wire the amp (if required).
Thank you.
EDIT: I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that balanced mode = bridge mode since there's a dedicated channel for +/- channels.

I imagine you are building a preamp? RCA's on output?on the output side and when using RCAs
But then not because you mention bridge mode???

edited my original post. hopefully I'm clearer this time. thank you for the patience.I understand, but I don't understand your question. 😕

If it has a normal balanced input with a reasonable common-mode rejection:
Connect the positive input to the centre pin of the cinch plug
Connect the negative input to the shield of the cinch plug
Make sure there is one ground connection between the source and the amplifier, either via the shield of the cinch plug or via protective earth. If it's via protective earth, it may be useful to connect a small capacitor between the shield of the cinch cable and the ground of the amplifier.
If it is a bridge amplifier that consists of two separate single-ended amplifiers with no common-mode rejection at all - that is, if it needs equal but opposite input signals to work as a bridge amplifier - you will need some sort of single-ended to differential converter.

What Marcel says. But the OP if it is a regular balanced to unbalanced input this Rane notes shows how to do it
