help to choose a good osilloscope

Hi guy,
I'm a new electronic student. I want to design AMP POWER SUPPLIES so i need a good osilloscope. I was wondering if someone could advise which osilloscope's brand name is good and affordable. Thanks heaps.

Tektronics are good and usually found second hand on ebay.
