I've had this card sitting around for a few years and want to press this into use in the kitchen system which currently uses a PCM2704 based soundcard . I used to use the CM6631A board with an XP PC (now in the landfill) and seem to remember I did something wrong during the setup which involved plugging the board in before loading the drivers or vice versa and hoping to avoid this . Couldn't find anything specific in the archives and can't find a suitable driver online with dead links on the C-Media website . Any ideas how I can this thing set up with a suitable driver for Windows 10 ?
Thanks

I've already tried that , hence my posting here . There are no native drivers for that soundcard in Windows 10 . The card needs a driver... Anyone ?

Thanks . I managed to get it working a few hours ago . Found a link to the correct driver , it took a lot of digging on Google . I did get the PC to pick up the board after a plug/unplug but no sound without a driver .
It's a major improvement over the $10 junk I had in there 😉
