Guys can any of you "Sparky" types confirm if the circuit pictured ( Connoisseur BD1 table ) is configured for 110v use or 220-240v use.
I bought this off ebay and seller had no idea when last used or where/on what voltage. I am in Australia, we have 230v AC mains; I bought this in Australia BUT it IS FITTED with a 2 parallel pin plug (110v countries USA,Japan etc) which is not for our mains GPO's (outlets). So can you look at the written instructions to the left of frame and confirm what I should change-if any change needed that is.
I had planned to fit a decent quality 3 core Earthed mains lead with a 3 pin Australian plug anyway, but I want to be certain the circuit is set for our 230v rather than cook the machine or myself!

The motor is syncronous, it will be 110V/60 Hz or 220V/50Hz.
If it has a 2-prong US plug it is likely the 1st.

There is a resistor in the switchbox assembly. If the connection from the switch travels through the resistor to the motor it is 240v wired if it bypasses the resistor 110v. However it is a different size pulley for 50hz larger than for 60hz as the motor spins at 375rpm for 50hz and 450rpm for 60hz. Some equipment has those american style sockets eg Hafler, sansui so you may be lucky to have the correct pulley.
