Help, not getting image on lcd

Well, the backlight went out in the Samsung 150mp I had been using as a monitor/TV so I decided to strip it down and put it on my overhead. I stripped everything fine, and had it up and running and it looked beautiful. For whatever reason I decided to shift the lcd screen a little bit to make the picture straighter on the wall and it got shook just barely and now I'm not getting any image at all. The ribbon cables all seem to look fine, I'm definitely getting a signal also. I've tried unhooking everything and rehooking it in and still nothing. Do you think I might have fried it with static? I had been trying to ground myself to a piece of metal and had been handling the panel pretty nonchalantly all day and it worked fine until that one little bump. Any other ideas on how to revive this thing?
