everything was working great on my sa51u. and i get home today and press the power button and nothing happens.
ive checked a lot of things and nothing seems burnt at all. the only thing i can think of is that the ceramic power fuse has blown.
do you guys think that this would be a reason that power isnt getting to the projector

nothing happens when i press the power switch.
the power switch is only supposed to turn on the fan and the leds.
and then i press the power button to turn on the projector.
so i figure the power isnt even getting to the switch. so that is why i think it might be the fuse

well i found a place that i can purchase the fuse. its going to cost me 15 dollars.
i really hope that is what the problem is

It probably will be a blown internal fuse, but replacing it will probably result in it blowing again.
I wouldn't pay $15 for a fuse. You can always use a bit of fuse wire (of the same or slightly lower rating), and only after you're sure there's no major fault you might want to think about a proper solution.
Have a look for blown components on the PSU, in particular inrush surge supressors (NTC thermistor) and get back to us before you swap it. A burnt NTC thermistor indicates a short on the PSU somewhere, which could be due to a whole load of things.
