I’ve recently picked up an old Pioneer stable platter PD-S705 cd player. I’m musing weather to use it as a project piece and do some modding, new clock and opamp along with a recap and a few other bits.
I’ve seen a few posts and webpages elsewhere for modding the PD-S505, which is similar but not identical. Has anybody modded this player or one similar, any guidance on mods and what to look out for?
Any recommended or preferred opamps?
