hey everybody,
so a while a go i made this little passive mixer for mixing 2 guitars together.
the guitar signal first goed trough a 10k resistor, then a 10k potmeter for volume. it works fine when plugged into a guitar amp. But i would like to be able to plug this little mixer into a regular line level amplifier. So my idea is to add preamp, boosting the signal up enough to be able to play trought a normal speaker at loud volumes.
so does anyone have an idea what kind of preamp to use, and what to look out for? thanks in advance🙂

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Oke i think i found something. i ordered the little bear e2LITTLE BEAR E2 Mini Guitar or Bass headphone amplifier amp board | eBay
it's small and batterypowered. it should do the job. would it be ok to just add this little preamp at the end of the chain in the mixer?

oke guys, i have assembled my stompbox mixer, here's how it looks(still needs a paintjob) it feutures 3 inputs and one piezo-guitarpreamp footdrum thingy, going through the little bear amp, and to the output.

it works works quite well, but i still have a problem. when stomp on the piezo, it gives a pretty nice kick-sound. however when i turn it up and kick it, it shuts down my speaker amp(ta2024). though it doesnt even sound that loud. my guitar sounds way louder. i'm guessing the signal is to strong, and the amp goes into protection. anyone have a sollution for this? will a passive compressor/limiter circuit maybe help?
