Just testing my old HICKOK 230 tubetester.
the readout meter is "kaput".
Can anyone help me with the right value for an replacement meter. Looking at the diagram it seems to be an voltmeter.( shunt in series with the meter) Sensitivity? Any ideas?
What kind of meter is used in the other types of hickok?

OK I did some more investigations.
The resistance of the coil is 3,3 kOhms so its for shure an voltmeter.
The hickok company couldn't help me because the instrument was too old, and they don't keep that archive ( ?)
They deal nowadays in car measuring equipment !
So wich "oldtimer" has an solution.
