thanks. I appreciate your help. Can you please give me an idea of its resale value?

What model is it? Look everywhere on the cable for a number with letters.

Because thats the only way to come up with an aftermarket price that's anything close to fair. They vary in price from a couple hundred to several thousand dollars.

*edit:. thats a PS "plus", correct? http://www.audioreview.com/product/cables/speaker-cables/ps-audio/plus-power-cable.html

I like PS, even their budget wire makes a positive difference.

As for a price, I stay out of that topic its easiest. Get some ideas on $ here https://www.hifishark.com/search?q=ps+audio+power+cable

I believe in wires enchanting a system, by enhancing I mean let its true potential out for our human senses to enjoy.

Physics apply to everything therefore I also believe once a certain level of performance is met by a minimal standard, quality material and construction is required. Once reached it is not simple to surpass that level. Better use of the English language is not going to make a system sound any better than it already does. After that point I would suggest looking elsewhere for gains.

For those who believe a power cord or power fuse has any effect on their stereo:

Draw out a diagram of your power from the ALUMINUM entrance cable, through your breaker box, all those feet of the cheapest copper Romex, to you outlet with recycled brass, through your "magic" power cable into the amp, switch, wires and into the transformer with hundreds of feet of 2-9's copper windings....

THINK. Just THINK.

Want to enhance your power? Well a good whole house suppressor on the service panel is a very good idea. You might swap out that fatigued 79 cent "contractor" outlet for a $3.50 "comercial" grade as the contacts are sturdier. ( for safety, ALL of them in your house) Never use the push-to connect terminals of cheap outlets. The really cheap IEC cables are actually spot welded to the terminals so they have the very very best terminations. Then dress you cables away from signal cables. Cross power and signal cables at a right angle only. Use the right length of cable. If you want to go all out, go ahead and put a bullet ferrite on the cord. Won't hurt and it may make you feel better. IF you hear toroid transformers in your system buzzing, then you may have something causing DC offset and a simple line DC blocker would fix it. If you are in the part of the world with non-polarized plugs, you can possibly get some hum from improper polarization, but you should not. In the US, old tube stuff with unpolarized plugs can be common. I had an Eicho tuner that was very sensitive.

Will your stereo sound better? NO, but the outlet won't overheat, plug won't fall out, and a proximity lightning hit probably won't blow up your TV.
I am not talking about interconnects or speaker cables. I am not even talking about the absolute junk half-shielded USB cables out there. Laws of physics do say they might, in some extreme situations, actually degrade the sound. No line cord will. Just not possible in the universe we live in. If you are a fan of super string theory, then maybe in the 7 hidden Plank constant size alternative dimensions, but not where we live.

There are tweaks that can help optimize. Speaker location is number one. If WAF allows, room sound management. Then equalize the room. Your choice if DSP, analog, treatments, or crossover tweaking. So slow sine wave sweeps looking for things that resonate. May surprise you. Things from book shelf back panels to nick-knacks, to window balance springs. ( I have found them all) I hate to mention it, but some folks actually do need to have their ears cleaned. If you have money to spend, the best upgrade will always be speakers. Sure, amps and even DACs can sound different but compared to speakers, trivial.

Now, if you are a competent electronic technician, you may find there are many ways to actually improve the power inside your equipment. Proper snubber and RF filtering, Grounding and power physical layout, properly implemented point source bypass caps, power rail surge capability, cleaner rails and PSRR, magnetic shielding etc. If your equipment is deficient, these things can make audible improvements.

But it's about changing the feelings of consumers. Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt will cause them to thin out their wallets. No wonder there are so many FUD-mongers.
It is about FLEESING the consumers.
If we were allowed to teach just a little science in school we would not have so many susceptible to things that any reasoned person would not fall for. About all we can do is call out PS, AudioQuest, and others for their shame.

If you can not notice things like AC cable upgrades / downgrade it might be time you look upstream. I would accuse the system of not being resolving enough to pick it up and allow your ears to hear the change or changes.

I couldn't get away with a generic black cable. The kind that comes with most amps. It has nothing to do with snobbery.

If the seller gives a properly rated conductor, meeting insulation and other industrial standards, that is a requirement, cannot sell without safety certificate.

But if the seller can actually prove his cable makes ANY piece of audio equipment sound better, what happens if I use it on my toaster?
Will it sound better?
Or make better toast?

😉
