What follows are some rules of thumbs for you to use to name your pages.

[toc]FORCE[/toc]

[h=General Guidelines]%2[/h]

* Try for five words or less
* Group topics using [wiki=Namespaces]%[/wiki]!
* If an article has multiple chapters, add the chapter number to the end of the base page title (eg MyUberArticle, MyUberArticle:Ch1, MyUberArticle:Ch2, etc)

[h=Projects]%2[/h]

[h=Give your project a name!]%2[/h]

Nothing is less descriptive than "500W PA Amp". There are hundreds of those on diyAudio and they're impossible to find or differentiate from each other or search for in the system. Please, for the sake of our sanity, give your project a name!

[h=Use the appropriate Namespace]%3[/h]

In order to make projects easier to find, please add your projects to either of the following namespaces:

* Amplifier -
HTML:
eg: Amplifer:Krell KSA Klone
* Electronics -
HTML:
eg: Electronics:MongrelPSU
* Speakers -
HTML:
eg: Amplifier:Krell KSA Klone

[h=Revision your designs]%3[/h]

When you create a new revision of your schematic that should exist an existing project, add a revision number to the end of the name.

HTML:
Eg.  Amplifier:Mongrel:RevB

This allows people to, very easily, find projects and different revisions of the project that they can build.
