hi, first of all i have little expirience with fixing amps. i have two amps that i have broken. one is a pyramid pb s80, it is 800 watts. i broke it once, and noticed one of the little things on the side, it is a little black box with 3 little wires coming out of it, it was all black around it, so i went to radioshack and got something that looked like it, got it and put it in, it worked great, then a friend had it and broke it again. i tried the same thing but it didnt solve the problem this time......... also i have a boss rev 20000. it is 2000watts. it basically looks like the first amp, except it has about 3 or so of those little things blown out. i really dont know how to fix these now. any help i can get would be great. and especially if someone lives in western washington, i am willing to drive some if i could get some help. thank you all very much

Your looking at either the output transistors or the power supply mosfets. You should read the numbers off of them and see if you can find the datasheet for them or possibly cross reference the part. You only need the one number say like 2N#### or Buz411 or something similar to that.
