hi
I'm brand new and cant email any member but my message is to Mr. TO-3...
i read a post where you had some part subs on ppi amps specifically BB opa134 in place of STs TL072
i'd like to start a discussion regard this and some over hardware changes to improve the ax606.2 and a606.2
Regards

There should be no problem swapping the opamps on those boards. You need to make sure you use the OP2134 as the OP134s are single amps.
I think te increased current draw, due to the the higher biased BB parts, should be negligible enough that you should not have to worry about the increased demand. However, you will probably want to swap out the 15V zeners and put 18V zeners to increase the rail voltage to the BBs. The critical thing is after making the mods, before you run any signal, power it up and make sure the rails are symetrical.
Happy modding,
Jon
