I'm making my introduction post here. I've seen some of the stunning systems people are running - I'm sure it all sounds as good as it looks! My experience of listening to various pieces of equipment is limited mostly to the system I inherited around 7 years ago, which in itself was a significant upgrade on what I owned and enjoyed before.
I have a keen interest in DIYing audio equipment. I've been lurking on this site for a while as I joined in 2021 but have yet to post. I very much consider myself a beginner in electronics and DIY audio but I love learning. I've picked up a lot so far but there's still a long way to go. I've successfully put together a few simple 'kit' projects and wanted to challenge myself another step further in building Nelson Pass' BA-3 board as a preamp. I am hoping, once approved, to be able to post about my recent issues with the build in the dedicated 'BA-3 as a preamp build guide' thread.
