Hi to all!
My name is Fulvio and I am a builder of old (alas) time. I came now to the third edition of my speakers, as I had to dismantle from time to time due to various move in new city.
The first case was a horn-loaded, that my mother tried to hide under dozens of plants with no avail. Then I bought a TW116 RCF to match the L15P554 that I already had and went to a bass-reflex in the style of commercial speaker of that time, the RCF BR110, even if the tweeter was housed in an external box, with a pyramid shape.
Years pass, the work lead me away and speakers lied unused. I bought, I do not remember when, but certainly at least 10 years ago, a midrange of the RCF, the L6L380 with the aim of achieving a three-way tri-amplified. I designed and built the amps (50 watts each). I dismantled the bass-reflex box but I had a new stop (new travel for job).
Now I stopped myself, I'm living in Milazzo and in the new house I would like to finish what I started many years ago.
But now everything must comply with a WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor), when before had to comply only to a MAF (Mother Acceptance Factor), and you know, mothers are much more tolerant towards creative extravagance of babies than the wives are against their husbands. So will ask your advice, not only for the technical side but also for aesthetics aspects of the speakers. 😉

Welcome Fulvio! I think my audio journey started around 29 years ago, and is still going as well! One tip on the WAF, raw flaking chipboard doesn't cut it! Especially if they are 70L cabinets!! A coat of matt black has given me a temporary reprieve 😉
Tony.
Tony.
Hi Tony! You are froma Sidney! My wife has relatives (cousin) in Sidney. He was working as carpenter and mainly as cabinet maker. Now he's retired, as is my wife's uncle that lives in Milazzo. He's a finest woodworker and I'll rely heavily on him for the finishing of the speakers.
Welcome to the forum... Just pouring over pictures should help with aesthetics... and lots of knowledgable people when it comes to the technical.
