why not... personaly, i think it looks cool, wish id thought of it...cowanrg said:why marble for the amp case?
NICE...
ive got nothing against it. was just wondering if there was a specific reason.
i would do it, but im not sure how you would work with it... can you drill it, bolt it? i barely understand how to work with metal and wood 🙂
hum, i wonder what the thermal properties of marble are? it always seems to be cold to the touch.

the thermal propertys of marble are practically nill (as far as i know)... marble is a type of rock... one could drill it with enough patients and the right tools(diamond tipped), to cut it, you would have to have a diamond wet saw. gluing, i dont know what to use for this (yet), but can be done, we have seen that.cowanrg said:hum, i wonder what the thermal properties of marble are? it always seems to be cold to the touch.
its cool how ppl use marble like this...
I try to never drill marble, usualy I'm just glue fixing elements to it.
that's right, marble for front panel it's more aesthetics, then for sound conditions. moreover I'm always make loudspeaker, using marble.
and amp have to be the same
