Heathkit AA-32 Volume issue

It only took 6 years (work & family got in the way), but I just finished rebuilding a Heathkit AA-32 with new components. When in stereo mode both channels have only a little volume. When I switch to mono the right channel sounds great, but no sound out of the left channel. I am going to try to locate the problem, but if any of you smart folks out there can help it would be much appreciated.🙂

If I can make both channels sound like the right this project was worth it.

What the "rebuild" work involved: recap only or deep mods?

I replaced all caps, tubes and resistors. I just found a broken signal wire that may be the culprit. If not any ideas would be appreciated.

The stereo/mono switch must have a problem.

That is what I was thinkng. The switch has 3 terminals. I have 2 terminals wired. I tested the switch. It functions just like a 1 pole switch. On or off. Am I missing something? I will make sure leads coming off the switch end up in the right spots.
