Heads up for big caps in Australia

Hi all,
Just thought I'd let people know that Rockby Electronics in Melbourne have got a range of large value low-med voltage capacitors on sale.

I've bought quite a bit of stuff from these guys and they've always been good to deal with.

I concur - I buy lots of small lots of components and other bits from Rockby. Some nice WIMA capacitors etc, though not full range of values, just odd lots.

Reccomended supplier - had an issue with one of the caps and it's been resolved quickly and definitely to my satisfaction. Nice folks on the phone to deal with too, so gotta say thanks for the tip about their sales!

I have bought parts from them for over seven years and never had a problem.

I believe the real issue would be the use of that certificate as I would be. Has their site been compromised? Identity theft, snatching up your CC info, passwords et al. Sorry, but they need to get this fixed ASAP before anyone should buy anything from them.

Spoke to them again today, (I ordered a pile of clearance parts for a quite reasonable price) and apparently their web host hasn't renewed the certificate, hence the SSL issue. Anyway, I'd still have to recommend them - their service has been excellent, and I've been quite pleased.

Anywho - not affiliated in any way, but I do like to take the time to point to a good retail experience, as opposed to complaining about the bad.
