Have you heard of fake klipsch heresy II?

A guy went to my house and listened to my heresy ii speakers, and checked the back of them, no stickers (series numbers), I never paid attention to the numbers before. Then he said your speakers may not be genuine... in fact I used these speakers for years, love them very much.

I can't believe there is the heresy II that is not made by Klipsch. :joker:

Disturbing indeed. Have you checked the connector by any chance?

I have seen heresy's that seemed to have a sort of terminal block if I recall, not this round plate.

On a related note - one time at a yard sale I bought a pair of speakers in home made wood cabinets that the guy swore up and down were klipsch heresey's ... I could not open the front, they were opeable only from the back after removing 12 or so screws - and turns out they had electrovoice triaxials in them.

Mine is squre one with binding posts. but the front cover can be moved easily like today's speakers. Don't know anything inside.
