His site is very good, and free to download 10 Megabytes of data

Here is the image:

Only the Harman Kardon part, or Products, and Integrated Amplifiers...but this is not more than 2 percent of all he has in that site.

regards,

Carlos

Now i will look forward to receive my "New" amplifier this
weekend.I buyed a used one for 100$ with one channel not working.I heard this amplifier is good.

hahaha, this is great!..a big emotion to us those new toys to big children we are,...

Have you already bougth some soft brush to clean it?

hehe, some silicone oil.... some WD40 pressurized thin oil....this is wonderfull.

That brand normally produce good sound, some people say that distort a little in the high frequencies when over driven...so.....only do not go to maximum...stay around 75 percent and you will be happy, and no one will say nothing against your new piece of jewellery.

The pleasure, when i can help, is all mine, if you smile, pleasure is double, saying thanks turns triple.

regards,

Carlos

I know this is a super old thread but just wanted to chime in and say that I picked up a broken HK6900 for $20. Found a crack in the tone control PCB and a blown resistor in the positive supply for the tone controls. Fixed for the low low price of $0.50, and what a nice amplifier this is. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but is very impressive on the inside. My only complaint is that it makes a fair bit of heat at idle, and is quite difficult to disassemble. I adjusted idle current as per the service manual, manual stated to set it to 52mV, mine was down to 30mV.

Very impressive unit, I'm impressed and very happy I got it for only $20! 🙂

Hi, I have also this old nice amp. I bypassed the tone, selector board by directly connect my Pro-Ject Pre Box RS on the amp board and the result is spectacular😀 but in some songs the sound is slightly saturated is it a problem of impedence or connecting a capacitor (2,2uf?) can solve the problem😕
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
