Harman-Kardon 330B schematic needed

I just found in the garbage (incredible what people are putting to garbage) a nice Harman-Kardon 330B. I just put the 2 speaker fuses in, then the amp works just fine. The tuner seems ok too. It has a discrete phono stage, separate bass/treble adjustement for left and right, AM-FM, aux input (for CD) and even a preamp output. It is all discrete amp and tuner.

I would like to have the service manual or just the schematic in case it breaks down.

I'll give it to one of my boys for Christmas.

Yes, it is amazing what people throw out! I found an HK 330A in the garbage, but mine has blown output tranistors I think. Cosmetically it is pretty good. I also found a Pioneer SX440, which I haven't fired up yet, but looks mint. I'm in Toronto, noticed you're also in Canada. Is this a Canadian thing to junk good old stuff?

If you get a copy of the 330B schematic, could I get a copy from you? It might be similar enough to mine to help me fix it.

By the way I tested my HK330B and it is working perfectly, I got (before clipping) 22W in 8ohms, 33W in 4ohms.

I've got a 330b also,Blown output transistors...Somebody tried to replace one with a TIP3055/2N3055 in a T0-220 package...
I guess the original 2SC1107 outputs are impossible to find now.Does anyone know of a suitable sub?
Perhaps we can throw a 330b ressurection party,and get all these 330b's singin again. 🙂

is there anyone on here know who can brouse the database or anyone service technitions on here who can tell me if the avr-507 is shared with a diffrent model? looked through avr 230,avr 235,avr 330, ( all i know the avr-507 is its a europeon limited edition model)

i thought the avr 230 was promicing as its the same board locations etc, that was untill i check a cap and it was a diffrent value 🙁

i emailed h/k apparently they said tryed to send it me me 4 times however my emails bouncing and wont acept 8mb attachments,
well that dont wash, as i have had large attachments sent before off friends, think they are trying to pull the wool over my eyes, i would even be prepaired tp pay for one if i have to.

so i know there must be a manual for this model or a diffrent model that shares the same manual with the avr 507?
