...sitting down and just enjoying some of the truly stunning natural beauty still to be found all over BC, except for the cities, where it's been ripped up, bulldozed, covered in concrete, drizzled with spilled Diesel, and topped off with a side of smog.

Ok thanks, I guess I was merely lucky to capture it like I did. If I were any good at painting, I'd make one like yours where the sky beautifully reflects off of the water surface.
is finding an old treasure,
i grew up listening to 'The Man Machine'[Kraftwerk] , 'From here to eternity' [Giorgio] on this 2 in 1 during the late 80s and 90s. last weekend i had to attend a boring wedding but that turned out to be blessing in disguise!
i located this guy gathering dust and in pretty poor condition. it's been years since i had been searching for this. if not functionally, i want to restore it cosmetically at least for the sake of those lovely memories!

A nearly empty island off the west coast of Florida.....why do we go there nearly every year?

Im always keeping an eye open for the real boomboxes.
Lucked out a few times too.
I like them so much that it's one of my items on project list, to build a convincing rendition of the originals ; of course with valves etc. they are real piece of music history.
