I just showed my wife that pic, and she grinned, rolled her eyes and laughed at the "mini"system between the 601's....

How so? - the average sofa is 6' plus, the labs are about 1m x 1m x 0.5m ......, 2m is approx 6'.....

i expect the response to be very good! as it seems close to a corner,and2 mouths is enough for 30hz against a wall i think....
the couch on top has a lower angle so looks less deep
perhaps thats why it looks not deep enuf,the boxes.

Actually, if you look at the floor boards, and count, you'll see that yes, they're about 45-48 inches wide. Sofas come in varying widths, so its very possible. Also, if I make an educated guess that the window on the left is approximately 2 feet off the floor, and like I said about the floor boards, its pretty easy to make some estimates about the size. (figuring a 2 1/2" plank width, I come up with 48" wide cabs)
Now, my only question is, how did this person convince their SO that this was acceptable? Or is there no SO?

maybe she enjoys it (if she sits on the couch) or it could double as her clothes cabinet (use winter clothes for damping)
