I am a patent attorney in Washington State, USA. I am 37 and started building speaker systems at about age 16. In engineering school I work with a team to build an exemplary basesband PCM tx-channel-rx system for the communications/controls lab for my college. I recently decided that it had been too long since I challenged myself techincally, and started hanging out here to learn from the hardcore nerds. There is a lot of wisdom here, and I enjoy learning from such inspiring folks.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you'll tolerate us asking for your professional expertise every once in a while. What part of the state are you in?

SY, I am presently in Eastern Washington building a small firm up. I've worked at several patent firms including one based in Sunnyvale. I am enjoying building a business of our own. I have done disclosures with many inventors from HP, Intel, National Semi, Philips, Onstar and Delphi. The Philips inventors have been some of the nicest people that I have ever worked with.
At present, I don't have any of the larger corporate clients; I service mostly startups, smaller companies, and garage inventors.
Thaks for the greetings fellas.
