Hello Guys,
I made a bobo. I did a clean install of Windows and totally forgot to backup my bookmarks
Would you guys mind sharing some of your favorite web sites for schematics? Particularly amps (ss and tube).
Also I had a link to some Asian web site with some really nice inexpensive DACs. Anyone have any such links???
Thanks
Lawrence

Ouch. I feel for you.
So that others might avoid the same fate (and maybe you too, eventually, after you get your links re-populated), here's something I did, a few years ago: I exported my "Favorites" links to a file. Then I edited the file with Notepad or Wordpad and put HTML tags in (and did a little other "massaging"), so that it could function as a webpage, and then uploaded it to my ISP's server. Mine is way out of date, now, but, as an example, here it is: http://www.fullnet.com/~tomg/links.htm . There are some electronics links, there, too.
For those who still don't know how to do HTML "manually", it's easy. Just google for HTML Tutorial. Also, whenever you're on any webpage, you can always select View-->Source from your browser's menu, and it'll give you the HTML, which you can then edit, save, copy and paste, etc.
Here are a few links, for you, in no particular order (Well, they're actually (almost) in alphabetical order by the titles they had in one of my "Favorites" folders, which are not visible here. Sorry):
