A friend wants to build his own speakers.
There is nothing exotic about his other equipment, everything old and second hand stuff.
He's willing to spend around 6 to 700 euros for it.
Not that much, but probably enough to build something better than he can buy in the average shop.
And most of all the joy of building them.
Could some of you give him a few hints?
Thanks
/Hugo

Is he going to design his own speaker or just make an existing one ? If he wants to design him itself be aware that it just isn't easy to make a decent speaker and he will have to spend a LOT of time in the crosover and redesign it over and over again before the beast wil sound the way he wants ( also redesigning cost's money ), but then offcourse it's like something he wanted, his kind of "soundproduktion machine"
if its the last part .... premium 33 discribed by elektor, you can also find the design @ Speakerland
