Supertramp - It was the best of times (2CD).
Brilliant live recording that gets the foot going and has the atmosphere to go with it.

I am with Pinkmouse on that one. Superb album indeed🙂Dimeola, McLaughlin and de Lucia, Friday Night in San Francisco.
Also, if you like some bluesy stuff: The Robert Cray band, "Live from across the pond" Very good sound-quality.
Steen🙂
Dead Can Dance - Toward the Within
- I enjoy this more than almost any of their studio albums.
Otherwise, have recently been listening to...
The Who - Live at Leeds (a classic)
Eva Cassidy - Live at the Blues Alley (this is VERY well recorded).

Eva Cassidy "Live at Blues Alley"
Phenomenal vocals! Great band!
It sounds like you are there! You'll wonder where the waitress is.😀

Wilco - 2 dic from Chicago - it's amazing. The latest Radiohead live album is pretty good too.
I'm just giving everyone a hard time, but with some of the suggestions above, I'm surprised someone didn't mention Frampton Comes Alive.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Eva Cassidy, but reckon that this recording is worth buying just to hear how good a live recording can be. Her other recordings leave me kind of indifferent, but this one is, as you say, phenomenal.
Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus - 1978. Extraordinary recording or just a fluke, but who cares, it's fabulous.
Dave Grusin - NY - LA Dreamband - 70's ? Crystal clear resolution.
Rolling Stones - Stripped - 1994. Charlie Watts says this might be the band's best work.
Eric Clapton - 24 Nights - 1992. Gotta be the best version of Sunshine of your Love he ever did.
Roy Buchanan - Livestock. Some scintillating guitar work.
