So the question is a new hivi dmb-a or used dynaudio D52 assuming they are in good condition? Always loved the D52/D28 combo.
I think Howard G. and I were testing a HiVi DMB-A the other day. It was a 2" dome he had mounted in a bookshelf speaker cabinet. So the baffle had some influence, your mileage may vary. Here's a plot showing the response including distortion at a moderate level and the mic at maybe 18". The main thing to rely on from this measurement being the low distortion.
