Hi guys,
i'm new to diyAudio. The most diy i've ever done is make a pair of interconnects and a replacement cable (which failed).
I've hardly done any hands on stuff and find that it takes me a few goes before I can achieve consistency. I'm hoping to build some nice hifi stuff over the next few years.
I used to work in hifi business for 4 years at a bulk store. Contrary to the perception of bulk stores and its staff, I have always had a true love of hifi. There's a few interesing projects that have sprung up in my mind which I hope I can achieve.
Look foward to your help folks

Welcome to the forum!
Start with something simple and before you know it, you'll have a house strewn with bits of solder, the smell of burning components, and a stunningly high electric bill.

Thanks guys.
I have a few interesting projects on my mind.
a) Building a kit bookshelf speaker.
b) Souping up my T-Amp.
c) Building some speaker stands that look professionally made.
My aim is to get enough experience to build a psycho home theatre system in the future at a fraction of what it could possibly cost.
