Good day guys, can is use complimentary 1A and 2A smd transistors to replace 1GM and 2GM on this power supply drive board?
The 'G' transistors (A06/56) are rated for 2.5x more current than the 'A' transistors (3904/06) so it would depend on the load they're driving.
1GM MMBTA06
2GM MMBTA56
1A MMBT3904
2A MMBT3906

2GM MMBTA56

Parallel push pull power supply dual bank. 6 fets per bank 3205’s with 47ohms gate resistors. If that is any much information.
One power supply failed, burnt fets, blown caps, bad drivers (was planning on changing the 3525 pwm ic also)

I think it would be borderline. I'd feel more confident with the 06/56 (which I almost always used for PS drivers).
That said, if I had to bet on it, I think it would have a better chance of surviving than failing. I'd suggest using the original 06/56.
