Does any one have any info this record deck, I believe that they where quite opular in the mid 50's but i am un able to find any operating or service manuals about them.
Also are they anygood as a player? or just have a collectable status ?

I doubt it. Garrard made two good turntables; the 301 and 401. And even they didn't sound good until you made a far heavier plinth than Garrard recommended. In case you think I don't like Garrards, I've used a 301 since I was 14.

..... counting that you're now 34 , that means that 301 is one good deck .......
