hello everybody!
for our band we have an eminent 1040m mixer by dynacord. i now want to add an active crossover and subwoofers+power amps to the system. but for setting everything up correctly i need to know what the gain of the different gain stages of the mixer is. can anybody tell me them or provide a schematic so that i can figure them out on my own?
thank you!

I do not have that data, but why do you need it? The mixer puts out a line level signal. That line level signal would normally go straight to a power amp to drive speakers. if you want an electronic crossover to split signal between a subwoofer amp and a full range amp, just get an electronic crossover unit, and connect it to the mixer main out. Then the crossover unit will provide two line level outputs, one for the lows and one for the rest.
Did the system work before when it was simple? The only difference between the simple setup and biamping is the need for separate amplification and the need for balancing it once set up.

it seems to me that the gain stage of the power amp is before the "power amp inserts" and after the insert there is only kind of a current amplifier with gain=1. i want to verify that...
