Hello, new here, so any and all advice about how to post etc...is more than welcome.
I have a Luxman r800 receiver in great shape, except the fuse lamps are gone. Normally these are easy, except these are an odd size. Typical diameter, but 2 inches long.
Except for their length they are standard.
1. Anyone know where to get these rare size lamps?
2. Or, can I somehow wire in some different lamps? I have never soldered, but am willing to learn and try.
I also need a 2A 250volt fuse which is also far smaller than standard, that runs the lamps, but I believe I should be able to find it around Toronto.
All advice is welcome,
Thanks!

I wonder if you could put two automotive bulbs in series. Those long bulbs are common in interior lighting in (now older) cars.
Mouser (Mouser Electronics - Electronic Components Distributor) has plenty of fuses. I'd be very surprised if you don't have some sort of electronic part store around Toronto that can help out as well. Here's a list: Where Canadians can buy Electronics parts

Thanks for the reply Tomchr.
In series idea is interesting. I thought of the car bulbs idea, but again, they are different sizes, but putting two together might be possible if I can make them about two inches long to fit the holders. Someone else suggested soldering a piece of wire to one end, clamp the one end in and solder the wire to the other holder.
Emailed a few places, including Mouser, without much luck, but I will keep hunting. Thanks for the input!
