Hello,
Im looking into building a full range speaker, Using the Faital Pro 10FE200, Should something like this be used with a "mid" or can I just mate this to a tweeter thats not a problem child to work with. i'll have a small budget- maybe $125 per speaker for drivers.

Hi. Here, "Full Range" is taken to mean single driver (usually). You want the Multi-Way forum for that driver

Actually what Bergarth is asking about is a TAW, Tweeter Assisted Wideband. So if you can have a WAW on the Full Range forum, why can't he have a TAW?

I thought it was nearer to a conventional 2-way, maybe there should be a 2-way forum. As for fullrange, I don't believe there is such a thing, I've suggested the forum name should be changed to single driver.

So if the forum name is changed to single driver then you're going to have to forego any discussion of WAW. Is that what you want?
I'm not fussy, I'll talk about it anywhere, in fact I already do. Ideally there should be a forum specifically dedicated to WAW since it's growing in popularity daily.
the 10fe200 is an excellent driver, but keep in mind a few things, it is a high effeciency driver(going to need either a HE tweeter or compression/horn driver to keep up), it has a decent Fs, but it is not meant to play much below 50-60 hz, it has a small xmax ,so it is probably better suited for vented enclosure. Now , I use it in my car as a midbass, crossed over actively (24db) from 60hz-1200hz, they are partnered with selenium neo compression drivers mated to special horn lenses designed for automotive use(stevens audio large body horns) also actively crossed over at 24db from 1200hz-20khz. these 10fe200 shock most people that hear them, for what they cost, and the quality of sound they output, not to mention the dynamics they allow. I am using them in a infinite baffle type setup in kick panels, with the horns just above them.

Greets!
It looks fine as long as you don't need it to go low at fairly high SPL, i.e. should be a good wide band speaker for TV or similar with a super tweeter listened ~30 deg. off axis. You can always add a sub system below 80-120 Hz later on if desired.
