FS: Pioneer TX-8100 Tuner

This is a fantastic tuner from Pioneers best years. It works very well for both FM and AM playback. It has two sets of outputs, fixed level and variable. The fixed level outputs hum, so I used the variable outputs exclusively. This tuner has meters for tuning and signal strength. Occasionally one of the blue backlights will flicker. It has a headphone output, though I’m not sure if I’ve ever used it. The tuning knob feels heavy and smooth, entirely unlike most tuners today.

There are a couple of marks on the wood, but far less than you might expect given its age. I can email pics to those that are interested. This is a great looking and sounding tuner, and its idiosyncrasies area reflected in the price.

Buyer pays shipping, $50 o.b.o.
