I'm selling my backup Parasound 6-channel amp on Ebay, and I thought I would give it a little plug here. Ebay link:
PARASOUND HCA-806 for sale

This is a very beefy amp, with a massive toroidal transformer. Per channel power is 80W x 6 with headroom into 8 ohms, 120W x 6 with headroom into 4 ohms and two pairs of channels can be bridged to get 180WPC in to 8 ohms. All channels have rear panel input attenuators, which can be dialed down to allow you to use the full output volume range of your pre-amp, which maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio.

All the output relays were recently replaced with new units using Parasound parts. The original relay contacts had developed a lot of oxidation, and the sound was intermittent in several of the channels as a result. It's a common problem after 10+ years for these amps but now it's functioning perfectly again.

Cosmetics are very good. There are only a couple of minor dings that you can see in the pics in the Ebay auction. I will be happy to provide additional hi-res pics upon request. All in all it is a very nice looking piece. It's pretty heavy, though, on account of the large toroidal tranny and heatsinks. Local pickup would save $$$ on shipping, and would be willing to meet people anywhere without about 1 hour of zip code 95616 for a handover, for instance to meet around Berkeley, Petaluma, or Walnut Creek would be no problem.

This is a great amp for 3-way active speaker projects and has more than enough power to blow you away when used in that way. The other amp that I own of this model seems to be bombproof, so I am selling this one to raise some cash for other speaker projects that I am working, that will have the amps built in to the speaker directly.

Below are some representative images of the amp. For some pictures of the amp for sale, which looks exactly like this, see the Ebay link. Scroll down to the bottom to read the technical specs from the manual.

I'm asking $450 for the amp, but will consider reasonable offers. Because of the weight and cost, I am not willing to ship it outside of the USA.
